about
Back in 2016 I was traveling around Germany with my friend. We made a two day stop in Bremen, a beautiful small town in the northwest part of Germany. Our favourite thing was (and still is) fooling around making fun of almost everything in this world, cause laughs heals. My friend said: "Hey, do you know what? Bremen underground hardcore bands are the toughest European hardcore bands!". And I was like: "We should start our own Bremen hardcore band, how about Random Knife?". And as we all know - Ideas don't die... If you check out my instagram posts from april 2016, the first chorus from the song "Random Knife" is still there. This song is my own burden, dragging me to visit Germany again. I hope one day we will hit the Bremen stage in our best shape. The lyrics are a bit fuzzy as always, we wanted to provide you with that twofold feeling of an enormously beautiful town and an overwhelming melancholy of the European migrant crisis of 2015-2016.
lyrics
Share some capitalistic food with me
It brings joy, it kills fast
I walk the streets of dirt
I count your empty shells
The streets you left bankrupt
The nooks are under your spell
And the hearts you left soaked out
You don't have to stand this violence
You don't have to choke on the exhaust
You don't have to break the guidelines
You don't have to walk behind the ghost
You don't have to walk behind the ghost
You don't have to walk behind
Drowned in the historical charm
Feels like Bremen tales retelling itself
Been killed five centuries ago
May be killed here once again
You don't have to stand this violence
You don't have to choke on the exhaust
You don't have to break the guidelines
You don't have to walk behind the ghost
I walk the streets of dirt
I count your empty shells
The streets you left bankrupt
The nooks are under your spell
Share some capitalistic food with me
It brings joy, it kills fast
Share some capitalistic food with me
It brings joy, it kills fast
Share some capitalistic food with me
It brings joy, it kills fast
