Growing Spring Crops main riff was the first Random Knife riff ever. It was also written in july-august of 2020 as one of Random Knife two draft songs, and also inspired by the Stardew Valley. This time the lyrics are more sensual and emphasized. Theу came from the idea that you can't kill domestic animals for food in Stardew Valley. We all love sausages and burgers, that's true, but it doesn't mean animals have to suffer for us. One of three most polluting and climate damaging industries is agricultural. So it's just a matter of time when we will become more consistent and sustainable, and why won't we start doing the right thing now? Music for that kind of song had to be dynamic and raging to stress the lyrical idea. So we felt like it should be somewhere inbetween punk, death metal and grindcore.
